Hi. Don't know if anyone's still checking Styx here...
I was using the new Ship, and then I kept getting messages about problems connecting with the server. I tried, over hours, to get back in. No luck. So I went to
http://www.isitdownrightnow.com/forums.shipoffools.com.html
Here's what it's saying, after checking several times:
quote: Forums.shipoffools.com Server Status Check
Website Name: Forums
URL Checked: forums.shipoffools.com
Response Time: no response
Down For: more than a week
DOWN Forums.shipoffools.com is DOWN It is not just you. The server is not responding...
Thought someone should know. Hope the Ship will be afloat soon!
Thx.

Thanks, GK.
You think it's the Non-Fools attacking us? I'd hate to be 'normal'.

Maybe the Vintage Ship was lonely and/or the new Ship needed a vacation?

Hello, is this the New Ship Life Raft??
I wanted to post a link to the Ship for a friend who could be interested in joining, but soon realised there wasn't much point at the moment.
So, what shall we talk about while we are waiting? Lovely weather today.

Chorister--
It's back, indeed. Thanks!
BTW: if we're dealing with the Mother Ship, do we get the Mother Ship music from "Close Encounters Of The Third Kind"?

I've started a thread on the issue over on the new Ship, here. I hope this helps.

Yup, and thanks for the link! That's exactly the scene: the mama ship cuts in with a deep "boom BOOM". Always makes me laugh.

I guess the tech guys at the company hosting the new Ship are out enjoying the sun. It's certainly out of the control of the Admins, and probably our own tech wizards. Sorry about that.
