I just read a news story on the BBC news site entitled 'Czech man with no heart dies after six months'. What with Jimmy Savile turning into your next Halloween costume choice, and "the pirate bay moves to the cloud" the world is getting very confusing.

What bits of your recent experience left you feeling like you briefly sojourned in a Dali painting ?

Our project retrospective yesterday. After each three-week 'sprint' (a bundle of work we try to complete in that period) we look back at what went well, what went badly and what changes we will make for the next 'sprint'.

This was Sprint 11. 'What shall we change' is always the same.

Less like Dali than Escher I suppose.

There are times when all of us wish our lives weren't like "Blue Poles": massively expensive and probably incomprehensible.

At which time we need to hang on and hope life is a bit like a Zen koan: there is, supposedly, meaning in the madness. [Big Grin]

"ABC Buys Modern-Day 'Great Expectations' Soap."

Yes, but which themed soap exactly did the Archbishop of Canterbury buy?

It did discombobulate me slightly when I discovered it's possible to be charged with causing fear and alarm using a black pudding. I know they're not to everyone's taste but...

Perhaps he's an unofficial member of the Goodies http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Goodies (the The martial art of Ecky Thump was fought with black puddings ).

When I looked at Blue Poles I was as slober as a sludge.
[Snigger]

No, it didn't drive me to drink.
