Question: How do you record radio programmes nowadays? In the old days, there was a cassette built in, and you could easily string together bits from various programmes. Does anybody have a clue??

I use Total Recorder. It can record anything that comes through your computer's soundcard - including online radio stations.

You can always play the programme on your iphone, connect your iphone to a tape recorder with an audio cable and hit record. I like tapes and no PC needed!

The total recorder thing sounds interesting - but can you record just bits of shows with it?
I don't have an i phone. Can a digital radio be connected to a cassette?

I think you should be able to plug the audio cable into the headphone socket on the digital radio and connect to the microphone socket on the cassette recorder.
