I came to The Styx to post a compliment to Louise for her response to an odd link from a new poster on the "Organisational Suicide" thread in DH. Reading every post in that kind of detail is a skill that I couldn't exercise that thoroughly for more than a day or two (ADD does that, y'know) and I appreciate the attention that all the Hosts/Admins give freely for us.

Plus, I do appreciate that reading some of the drivel that I, along with many others, put on these boards must be close to a new form of Hell. So thanks and praise are offered.

Then Iread Twilight's problem and saw the careful and apologetic response to T, and I am further impressed and thankful.

Now, where is the Organ Fund? Thanks again.

The Floating Fund is HERE.

Give generously. I've had a peek at the crew Christmas Tree (just a glimpse; Jedijudy normally barricades the door on 1 December and all you can hear for weeks is the sound of ripping tinsel and swearing) and the present mounds are several feet lower than last year.

Just made a small donation to replace the tinsel that JediJudy ripped up.

Xpost with Loth's inspired comment -- AfreakingMEN! And wodka. And mulled wine, being The Season, and all!

***********

Ditto on all counts, HB.

Having been absent for some time (on and off over all my years aboard, really [Roll Eyes] ), returning to the Ship to find an open and genuine Administration still willing to engage with members' frustrations and concerns (do I sound like a fricking campaigner yet? Shittingles [Hot and Hormonal] ) is refreshing and encouraging.

Not even sucking up. Just kudosing as is apt.

[Hot and Hormonal] Thanks! Really!
You mean y'all can hear me? I may have to take that beautiful coverlet that Firenze made and use it as extra insulation against the noise.

Thanks for the reminder! I try to donate at this time of year, in memory of Erin. [Waterworks]

Many thanks to the crew. I've added to the floating fund, despite the suggestion in Heaven that Donald Duck invented a way to refloat ships with ping pong balls. [Biased]
