Surely 'Sad bastards with too much time on their hands'?

And, while we're at it, why no Halifax board?

I feel as though I should be jealous about not being in it, but then I sip the tea one shipmate gave me, in the mug another one gave me and think any in crowd that doesn't have me in it is the poorer for it [Big Grin]

No, because I'm a sad bastard with no life. And no real friends, of course. Get your facts right.

I was thinking of "From Hell, Hull and Halifax, Good Lord deliver us" but I just checked on the interweb and it says that the Halifax bit is about a kind of gibbet.

If you are worried about whether you're in the IN crowd, you aren't...

I don't want to be in any crowd that would have me in it.

I was once in but now I'm out. I did the hokey cokey and I turned around.

Someone told me that's what it's all about.

That's OK. I am doing the existential hokey pokey and still trying to ascertain what it is all about.

The reference is to a modern English folk song protesting at the working conditions in the emerging industries of the 18 and 19Cs, of which the chorus is:

From Hull and Hell and Halifax ,
Good Lord, deliver me.

Now you were just aching to know that, weren't you?
[Big Grin]
