I have just transferred this 1964 record of a production by Ewan Hooper and Ernest Marvin to a file (currently Audacity format, but can be converted to any codec).
I wonder if anyone remembers this production/record from my teenage days.
The cover notes say the production was broadcast by ABC television, and that there was an attempt to have a broadcast banned in the House of Commons on the grounds of bad taste.
It is an EMI mono record code 33SX 1609.

Ok I vaguely know Ernest Marvin. That is I have heard him preach several times and I have a signed copy of his book on Reforming Worship.
After Bristol he went to America for a while and then accepted at call to my home congregation (. He left before I joined to serve at St Columba's Cambridge until he retired.
AFAIK he is still in the land of the living and if you want to make contact then I should be able to find his address.

I actually still have the LP recording and the paperback book of the script. When I was a teenager our youth group performed this play two years in a row. I had totally forgotten about it till I saw this thread.

I've an idea this might be the play we did at The Church Of My Yoof - round about 1970, I think........I was Judas Iscariot, IIRC.
