Any fellow budding music stars on here used a mini/portable recording studio? I'm not looking to do anything fancy with it, just want some good quality (demos for radio) live recordings of my acoustic band in full flow ...

What might be your budget? Are you looking for the ability to mix/record multiple sources?

Up to about £130 ... Would just want to do good clean takes of songs, as performed by the whole band together.

You may want to consider just getting an audio interface that you can plug into your computer. The Tascam US-144 is popular and affordable (I use the earlier version, the US-122). You'll need software, but Audacity is free and works great.
