Every year and a half or so, I start a new thread in purgatory: last year it was about The Shard tower in London. It was of interest to me as a former architecture student and to many others due to the controversy of its being the tallest building in the UK. I would like to live there, I think. Past threads have included hunting and what to do with dangerous criminals.

A funny thing is that although I don't hang out in Keryg that much, I think many of my rare OPs have been started there. I really don't know enough about the Bible although I made it through EfM. And in Keryg I know that there are people who hang out that actually do. In the original languages, yet. So there I have a pool of people who can make me feel really inferi- erm- whose brains I can pick. [ 04. November 2012, 02:37: Message edited by: Lyda*Rose ]

What I've mentioned before (and it probably isn't possible) is to limit threads started by apprentices. For the first 50 posts they could reply to other threads, but not start threads of their own until they've gotten into the swing of things and seen how the Ship and her various boards operate. [ 04. I think that quite recently we've had an object case like that to consider. But we've also seen that the problem often pretty much takes care of itself. Somehow apprentices who yell, "Me! Me! Me!" often get discouraged and go away. Can't imagine why.

I actually thought that was the way it worked... Oh well. You were spared even more of my inanity...

No, I meant me. I'm an equal opportunities poster and have started threads on all the main boards at some point. Dead Horses really is not an option in the questionnaire. (Neither is the Styx, but that's less likely)

I'm pretty sure that was the first Board where I started one. (And, IIRC, received some very helpful responses.)

The question was on what board are you most likely to start a new thread; the choice of "other" covered boards not listed above, and, as the question asked "most likely to" the choice of "all" really would not have fit within the question.

@Loquacious beachcomber, if you look, in the past two weeks I've started threads in Heaven, Purgatory, Hell and All Saints, one of of the threads I started in Purgatory was transferred to Kergymania. In addition, I have posted in The Styx, Dead Horses, The Circus and Ecclesiantics. If you look at my last 50 posts, I have posted in all the boards but Kergymania. I really truly did want an all option.

Famous Last Posts - when the title of a thread (as listed on the Boards home-page) combines with the name of the person who last posted on it to make something mildly (or sometimes wildly) amusing.
For instance, this might come out as:

What's wrong with the threads I've got on?

The replies on this thread have been extremely interesting; in future, I will probably start fewer new threads, and, if I post another quiz, offer a few less choices rather than try to satisfy everyone, which obviously can't be done.
