Hi all,

I'm an Episcopalian moving to from the USA to Dublin next month. Any one has any recommendations on churches? I'm hoping for something MOTR with a decent crowd of young adults.

Cheers.

Hello melchi, and welcome to the boards! I hope you'll enjoy being here and exploring what there is to offer. Do be sure to read our 10 Commandments, and the guidelines at the top of each board, as the boards have quite different characters. You might like to pop over to the thread for new people in All Saints, where you can introduce yourself.

And speaking of All Saints, I'm just going to transfer this thread over there, as it's a more likely venue for responses. Hold tight!

Hi melchi and welcome from me, too.

We'll keep this thread here for a day or two to see if there is a response and may then transfer it on to Ecclesiantics as that is where churchmanship may be more thoroughly dissected.

S Bartholomew's on Clyde Road was, in my day, Dearmerite in its approach, and with an excellent choir. Someone with experience in more recent days should pipe up.

Both cathedrals had good choirs, but Saint Patrick's was the better with its choral scholars. For years, their evensong rivalled English cathedrals.
