The earth's population is expected to hit 7 billion over the next few weeks.
The BBC website has a handy calculator to tell you what number out of the earth's population you are, and how many people were born before you in history.
Of course, it must all be very scientific, and I can't imagine that where in the world one was born and the trends at the time would make any difference. And that other people might've been born in the world on the same day. Well. Maybe a bit. Or more. (it does say what it's basing its number on, by the way).
Anyway, it's quite entertaining.

I also learned that my country's population is 62,035,570, and that my life expectancy as a female here (the UK) is 81.7 years.

Because I am old, but not nearly as old as Pete, I was only the 2,500,585,027th person at the time of my birth or the 75,567,344,721st of all time.
My average life expectancy as a Brit is 77.4 years but in India I passed the average male life expectancy some time ago - its a mere 62.8 years.
BUT life expectancy across varies greatly across India, as I suppose it does in all countries. There are certainly quite a few folks just in this village who are older than I am - especially when Pete is visiting!

Based only on my birth date? I'd have thought they'd ask for the place and time of day (place so they could adjust for local time) at least!
