You are rewarded with a picture of a kitten for every 100 words you type. Positive reinforcement, or what?
dare to share what you wrote or what you got?

I keep a water pistol specially reserved for visiting cats. It's not that I dislike cats, but I no longer have one myself - discvered I was allergic a few years ago - and I am very fond of birds. Bitter experience has taught me that, if you don't take a firm hand, every cat in the neighbourhood will fight for possession and bird-hunting rights on your catless patch. Occasionally, I will turn a blind eye to the neighbour's cat - sleek and black - dozing in a spot a long way from the bird table. But I take a dim view of a cat on a roof ( I have a lean-to between house and garage as well as a flat-roof extension) ever since the mysterious disappearance of a family of starlings earlier this summer. Oi - that's 137 words - where's my kitten? (145)
I'm going to keep going to 200 and see what happens. Hmmm ... what else? Lots of courgettes this year. Courgette salad, courgette surprise, courgette lemon loaf currently sitting in my cake tin awaiting attention. And the 'o' is going funny on my keyboard, which is making writing very tiresome. So, now, kitten -

Sorry, no pics, got lost in experimentation. The script does not recognise words, just characters with spaces between. I typed 100 random pieces of gibberish and was rewarded with a pic. Copy paste sufficed to keep pics coming. Refresh did not.

Is it true that you get a picture of a kitten for every 100 words you write? Not a real kitten though, just a picture of one. Well I never! We has a visit from a kitten today. A black one. I think he's been here before, but he was wearing a different collar. This collar was studded with glass bits. At least I assume they were glass. Might have been diamonds! He previously had a blue collar, but perhaps his owners thought a blue collar was not appropriate for such an affluent area. Not affluent enough for a diamond-studded collar though!

Actually, you just need to type one word. Kitten. In a search engine.

Spoilsport Firenze! The written kitten actually made me sit down and try to write - the fun element was enough incentive. I guess reluctant writers would enjoy the challenge enough to give it a go, at least at first.
I wandered lonely as a cloud that floats on high oer vales and hills, drat that Wordsworth I said aloud, I can't get his daffodils out of my mind. They're yellow and bobby and easter and chicky, tremendously lake districty, and not at all suitable for an urban park with dust, noise and dirt, and bored witless youths who'd kick them and pick them and grind them to ground. So let's begin again, with a poem that's gritty and fitting for this inner-city bleak land, with its chimneys and smoke and persistent blasting of horns, sirens, barking - and I don't mean Upon Westminster Bridge.
For this effort I was rewarded, although I was a little disappointed to be given an adult tabby cat, rather than a cute wee kitty. Adult cats for adult content? Let's not go there...

*sucks teeth*. We've always rather discouraged writing threads, other than story ones.
And it's not really a discussion. Nor is it a game.
I'm sorry. I think this one's going to the vet.
