Does anybody know of online resources that describe a traditional Good Friday Three Hours service, based on the seven last words of Christ?
I know this is mainly a preaching service, but I wonder what else was involved?
I'm looking for old material - something that would have common among Anglo Catholics in the early 20th century.
Thanks

If you look on the website of St Thomas, Fifth Avenue in New York you will find a full order of service. It looks pretty much what I remember being usual in the churches I was ised to in the UK back in the 60s and 70s. I have no idea to what degree it follows what AC types might have done in the past, but given the tradition of St Thomas it may well have similarities.
