When I clicked on what appears to be a new Hell thread, I got page three of the WLTB thread.

That's just happened to me too...

Nothing there now for me.
In fact, it looks as if a certain amount of cleaning up has been happened overnight.

I don't know what was going on there. There's obviously some glitch in the software. I had to take the extrememly unusual action of deleting it. I've informed the OPer and asked her to try again.

I'll take it as a soign from gawd.

Apparently fine now. Warning is gone from the Styx and the Hell Board.

If you could reproduce the fault it could be an interesting feature of the next H&A day.

I am having a bit of oddness right now.
I clicked the send reply button once and received a flood control message. Opened the thread in another window and the thread had posted. A separate post yielded a 4xx error message. (cannot remember which specific code)
iPhone posting for those, so who knows, but things have been slow here lately. iPhone, iPad, Android and computer.

...but the would love to belong threads have disappeared?

It would appear so. They are doubtless undergoing forensic analysis at this time. But a host or admin could tell you more than I can.

Sorry, that was a 502 error code I recieved. Received it several times now, just in navigating around.

I'm getting errors navigating around too

That was deliberate.

And even more interesting if it could be done to the Circus

I don't post a lot so couldn't say whether there's a problem with this. However I'm having the very simple problem that I have to click the 'back' button twice each time. I'm in Safari on an ipad. Could this be part of the same thing? It's only happening on SoF.

The whole site seemed to die about temn minuites ago. Seems to have been fixed now.

I have read of this on another site. I think it is a Safari upgrade or something?

Hell froze over. Everyone who declared there was something that wouldn't happen until THAT happened should be nervous 'round about now.

Thank-you for augmenting my paranoia

I got a Host 500[?] Server Error several times yesterday [Monday], at least 10 or a dozen times.

I think it's related to Safari. I get the same thing when on Safari on my iPhone, but not when I'm using Explorer or Chrome.

Thanks! I'll look into it.

It's been at least twice, and if you've posted on a thread, the only way to get out of a recursive loop was to open a new window. Things seemed a lot better last night though.

Throughout this week there have been patches when the Ship has been very slow loading, but other pages have been fine. Has anyone else noticed this?
Posted by Caissa (# 16710) on

yes

Yes, I've noticed it.

Me too.
Bit of caulking required on some of the seams?
Posted by Marvin the Martian (# 4360) on
:
Let's face it, parts of the hull are made of nothing but caulk.

Just got a "boards closed for maintenance" error message. It went away after I hit refresh a couple of times (I thought it was a bit odd because there'd normally be warning of boards closing here). It's the second time this week this has popped up - is it useful for someone to know that? Has anyone else had this or is the software just fucking with me?
Posted by Spike (# 36) on
:
I was moving some threads to Oblivion which involves closing the boards for a few minutes.
Posted by luvanddaisies (# 5761) on
:
Ah cool.
Not going mad then, and it's not that the software hates me. Magic. Cheers.

That's had an interesting effect on the recent posts list via the directory. Or perhaps that's just for me.
