I love this, and thanks to Ye Olde Motherboarde for compiling the calendar!
Can we add the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity (January 18-25) or is this strictly about individual days?
Apologies if this question has been asked in former years, I'm still rather new!

My wife, Zeke on the Ship, no longer posts here but she has her birthday today. She's teaching and grading papers all day (nearly ten hours) and we shall be partying all night starting with an Italian dinner followed by a visit to an Irish-American pub with live music.
She is in a nice cool classroom now, MB!

Summary-- Roseanne and Dan freak out their prissy neighbor Kathy by staging a fake disemboweling. Dan lies in a dead faint on a table with offal bought from the meat department spilling form his gut, and Roseanne complains she will never get the mess clean. While Roseanne menaces Kathy, Dan climbs off the table, creeps up behind Kathy and offers her a slab of liver that dangles from his belly.
Classic.

Just out of curiosity, what does one do to get one's birthday on Motherboard's list?

Either ask here, or send a PM to Motherboarde

Unfortunately we can't go and see 'Saving Mr Banks' on Walt's birthday as I'm at a rehearsal! Oddly enough, I was born the day after he died. Make of that what you will...

Motherboarde has dutifully added it to Feb. 2014

Thank you, Motherboard. My day was unspectacular but nice.

Today was the birthday of the lovely and talented Gill. She had a great weekend and her dear Hugal spoiled her immensely.

Aww, thanks! Saturday was amazing, Hugal bought me a trip to the Harry Potter Studio Tour which was fab. Those of us celebrating a birthday (myself and a five year old boy in full Gryffindor gear) got to open the doors to the great hall.

One who generated much discussion on the boards, in now-oblivionated threads, has departed us.
(I thought this might be added to the Fun Days, as he gave us a lot of fun in his own way, but sorry if it's deemed inappropriate).

Well, it is time to put the old year to an end. SO, HELLO 2014! AND GOODBYE 2013, its been fun, but I don't want a repeat.
New thread will commence tomorrow! and this thread will be consigned to the ozone layer.
