Have gotten time-out messages several times in the last 10ish minutes trying to load ship pages. Anybody else having (had) problems tonight?

It's 18:27 US West Coast ("Pacific") time. Here it's still 27 Dec.

Yes, I noticed it too. I assumed it would resolve itself in time . . . which it has.

The Ship has always had an inconsistent rate of sail, IME.
Whether her primitive trim or mired in the doldrums of her corner of the Internet Sea, I'm not certain.

In the (business)quiet period over the Christmas/New Year break, some ISP/Network Provider/Telecoms giant somewhere (most of them probably) is taking down servers to do maintenance work which will temporarily screw up the DNS tables. It was ever thus.
