We have spent the last few months getting Dafling minor to learn that 8pm or thereabouts is sleep time. Likewise, Dafling major has been learning that bed time happens before 9pm. So now we have to explain that bedtime has changed to an hour before their body clock is telling them. Thank you ye powers that decree such things. Oh and the evenings are now lighter which means that their official bedtimes are no longer in the dark. Hooray. I hope you're enjoying the light evenings.

Posting from the Land of the Rising Sun, where (oh look) the sun rose an hour ago. Where they don't muck around with the clocks twice a year. Such sensible people here. Ner ner, de ner ner

I think we should have a standing hell thread on this topic which we unlock for about 10 days every spring and autumn. This would let the Hellhosts scream something like "you fuckwit, we already have a thread on this" if someone decides to open a new one, and otherwise spare everyone else the trouble of dredging up the old thread in Limbo to revise what they said last time (provided they don't already know it off by heart, of course).

You think we let these threads make it to Limbo? They're lucky to make it to Oblivion.

Is that you volunteering to help get the Daflings to bed at a reasonable time next year?

Same for Arizona -- except the northeast corner, which is the Navajo Nation. (Other than that, I would rarely call Arizonans sensible.)

I don't think I will be either this year. The tedium, it burns with the fire of a 1 PM sun straight overhead.
