Hi folks
Just a head up that if you suffer from depression or any other form of mental health problem, there is a private Ship board for you, Waving not Drowning - a safe place to share sorrows and joys with other Shipmates. It's been a bit quiet lately, so may I encourage others to dip a toe in the water? Conditions for joining:
- You need to be a full Shipmate with at least 100 posts on the public boards.
- You need to have a mental health problem yourself, not be joining 'on behalf of a friend' (don't worry, we don't ask for a doctor's certificate!).
- We (one of the board's hosts) will check your 50 most recent posts just to make sure you are keeping to Ship guidelines.
Just PM me and I'll start the process off. Feel free to post any questions or comments below. We'd be happy to see you! (and if you are a Waving member who no longer posts because you're doing fine now, it would be great if you come back to tell us how you did it!).
