The Church of Scotland has voted to allow ministers to be in civil partnerships. Technically it still teaches that marriage is between a man and a woman, but congregations may opt out at their discretion.
(On Thursday they'll vote on an amendment permitting ministers who are married to people of the same-sex.)
Two cheers?
Possible model for the Church of England, assuming the sky doesn't fall in?
Has it been scientifically proven that gay marriage while it is raining causes UKIP spokespeople to say silly things?

The URC and - I believe - the Methodists have "allowed" ministers to be in CPs for some time, Indeed, one URC Synod Moderator (at least) is in one.
The URC is slowly progressing along the road to SSM being celebrated in churches, my guess is that - after much discussion - it will become possible as from Assembly next year. Don't know what the position is re. Ministers.
We must remember that Scotland and England function under differing marriage legislation.
