Re 'Monstrous Regiment of Women'
It means unnatural government by women, (regiment = government in this case) ie. that it's unnatural and wrong for any woman to hold political power. Tis the title of a very badly timed tract by John Knox aimed at denouncing the rule of Mary Tudor and Marie de Guise (Mary Queen of Scots' RC mother) unfortunately they died shortly after he published it and he then had to explain why Elizabeth I was a GOOD THING whereas he had just said that all ruling queens were a BAD THING. Not surprisingly Elizabeth wasn't amused!
So the bad thread title would be
Women unfit to govern anything! The Bible says so!

Thank you, Louise. I assumed it was a chauvinistic, anti-woman kind of suggestion, but I did not realize the political implications of it.
So an answering thread to that would be:
"In politics, if you want anything said, ask a man; if you want anything done, ask a woman." (Thanks to Margaret Thatcher.)

I actually almost started this thread about thirty seconds ago, and then decided it might hurt some well-meaning new person who thought I meant them:
Certain Unnamed New People Who Come In, Ignore The Commandments, And Then Troll
My OP was going to consist of several lines of A's, followed by RRRGGGHHH!!! (AAAAA...AAAAAARGH!) and perhaps this smiley: over and over again.
But I think it would be a bad idea for a thread.
So I mustn't.

One that engenders interesting conversation, some humour, and a bit of edification in how to move on in my spiritual life.... not one that gets shut down by the hosts for being a seriously dumb thread.
