Do use all CAPITALS in thread titles. This will make people realise that your thread is so much more important than any of the other threads.
This is especially important when it's an extremely lame thread.

And remember, one strike and you are out.
If you start a thread and noone really pays attention to it, or if one of your replies to another thread is ignored, your calling is probably on another bulletin board. After all, we are all ignorant infidels here anyway, and your intellectual superiority will be lost on us.
((Someone please make a nice comment about this or I might just cry and leave.))
(((that's not a promise)))

What you may have failed to notice is the existence of various ‘in-crowds’ on these boards, which act like powerful but secretive fraternities. One of the most influential of these is known as ‘The 0 group’, which comprises people who have started threads that have received no responses whatsoever.
It is rumoured that The 0 Group issues commands to the illuminati, and was responsible for the assassination of Simon and his replacement by a simulacrum.
Election to this group is purely on merit, so if you wish to join it then the best course of action is to begin plenty of threads that are so lame that they are likely to receive no responses. The Hosts won’t mind about this as they are all aware of the existence of The 0 Group and will understand your plan.
Of course, now I have revealed this they will have to kill me.
