Just recently, every time I look, the monstrance has been there. It's there again now, in breathtaking grandeur.

Just for once I DID It's a terrible picture because of the lighting, but you can admire Tea Cosy Lady in all her pale pink glory. I wonder if Ann would be very kind and add it to her collection of screen grabs? I'll PM her.

Many thanks, Ann, for taking the trouble to secure those screen grabs!
I notice that the Munk who was assisting the priest on Ash Wednesday was vested in a proper surplice over his habit - most seemly!

I am not absolutely convinced that Tea Cozy Woman might not actually be Small Furry Animal Perched On Her Head Woman. It's the right shape for a tea cozy, but it rather resembles a pastel raccoon, minus the tail.

He is the Light of the World, in a dim, shadowy kind of way. An early morning Breath of Air for Jesus.
Very peaceful, except for my worry about the S-E corner candle, barely alight.
My hope is that Mr. and Mrs. Tea Cosy will one day be seated closer to the altar, with Munk Mommy and the rest of the crew.

Perhaps some of the more advanced watchers can explain to me why there is now a missal stand on the altar? Do they have Mass daily?

Mass has ended, and Tea Cosy Lady and her male companion have gone in peace, leaving Zimmer lady alone in quiet contemplation.
I was able to catch a screen grab of the priest bowing during the consecration, and another of him in what appears to be mid-elevation of the host (its a bit hard to see with the lighting). I was hoping to catch the full elevation of either host or chalice, but alas no such luck this time! As it is, I keep waiting for the bells to ring when I look at the pic!
I also grabbed a screen cap last week of one of the monks leaning over and folding some bit of unidentifiable linen on the altar, next to an open (and sideways!) monstrance. I'll send off a PM to Ann to submit these to the tribute site.

He was out for quite a while. Then he went in (for a nap?). Then he was out again. Now he's disappeared once more.
It's always nice to see the monstrance out, though.

I hate to raise this possibility, particularly as an intermittent BSW-watcher and reader of this thread, and an even less frequent poster.
But isn't there some risk that daily Masses and relatively organised regular exposition will be the death of this thread? The vast, still, empoty silences gave the webcam it's bizarre appeal and made the extremely rare, hugely prized sighting of any actvity correspondingly celebrated. Will you all get dulled by over-exposure to the Sacrament (not to mention Tea Cosy Lady)?
[Just in case the Munx are reading, please do ignore this specious whingeing! You put all that work in to answer your critics, and then they moan that everything's running too smoothly However, if you felt like keeping the crowds interested by making sure that, once in a while, something really out of the ordinary happens on the BSW...]

Hmm. Very odd. I was wondering if the apparently miraculous glow which has previously accompanied Exposition was, in fact, a cunningly-placed up-light of some sort. If so, the bulb's blown!
At the moment, it's difficult to see whether or not the Most Blessed Sacrament is actually present in the monstrance.......
