The logo should entice you.

Any other logo fails people have come across?

Gracious. How did that one get past the designer?

This one is not strictly a logo, but they do have it out on the main street of the town: Palm trees decorated for the holiday season. This is a perennial, shows up every year.

The chess logo is just screwy (IYSWIM), but those palm trees look great!

I've tried the position depicted in the logo. It doesn't . . . work very well. Is the logo therefore an oblique reminder that chess involves mental gymnastics rather than sexual?

I believe a systematic and dispassionate analysis would lead most people to conclude that's an incredibly silly notion.

My thought is that if your sexual encounter is so motionless that your chess pieces do not slide, you aren't doing the sex right. And your chess game probably isn't worth much either.
