Considering how many of my answers were wild guesses, only getting two of them wrong isn't all that bad ...

Did my usual "forgetting it's against the clock" and still managed 40 seconds - I'd be amazing if I had a brain.

I really fecking hate it when they ask your opinion about bad quizzes! This is an opinion, not a fact, and calls for a value judgement. I should have been seventh. The dumb shit who wrote the question, that piece of excrement, should be banned from writing any more. I could go on...

I've nearly trained myself to ignore the heading for each question - which doesn't help you answer the question but takes time to read - but I'd still struggle to read the question fast enough to get close to the experts.
Next time I might reduce the width of my browser window. At the moment the I'm nearly turning my head to read it all - if I get it narrower perhaps I'll be able to take it in faster. [ 14. January 2012, 22:58: Message edited by: Just Me ]

Foiled by a movie (accepted defeat graciously) and by a stupid stupid stupid question about stupid depends-on-your-point-of-view etiquette. And as for asking me which statement is factual about a mythical creature.... well, I rest my case. Some days this quiz is not worth the paper it's printed on. ![[Biased]](wink.gif)

Finally back in the top ten: currently in fifth. It said the quiz was "harder". Harder than what - it was easy for me, though I did make an educated guess on the film question because I never saw it.

Tried to submit a correction for question 1 (which they always get wrong), but it told me I wasn't logged in, so I thought, "stuff that for a lark".

If it is the question I think it is, piglet, they are right - I thought they were wrong, too. One is the capital and the other is the seat of government - the status of the first is enshrined in their constitution.
