I must have accidentally borrowed the guess-o-meter, I got them all right, and 3 were complete guesses, some fo the others were educated guesses as well

And I have this thing in my browser where I will click something and it will tell me I haven't clicked it, and I will be in such a rush in my attempt to trounce Ariston (like that will happen) that I won't see it till I have submitted. Then I bark "AH! SHIT!" and spend the next five minutes calling myself names.

I'm back - we were sans interweb for a few days as the cable provider gave us a better deal (allegedly) that involved a Contraption being wired in by someone other than me.
Thanks for the loan of the guessometer, Pete - I've put it back on the shelf.
It excelled itself today - I'm in sixth place.

Today my downfall was none of the above, but the fact that my computer decided to stop and think about it just as I clicked "submit", giving me a time of 51 seconds, which is un fat lot de bon on a Very Easy day.

Yep, pondering that Q made my time slower, but I had the advantage of insider information, being the correct starsign. Knew it would come in useful sooner or later.

Heh. The astrology thing was funny-- Just this week I was writing about some guy I chatted with in the downstairs room at the 2008 London Meet, who was trying to figure out his sign. I guess he figured "ask a Californian."
He was a [the sign in question], turned out.

At last, 50 50 worked without having to phone a friend. To get 10/10 on that last one restored my recently-damaged self esteem... even if it was by accurate guessing!
This month is not going to be a galloping success... just like January. Could March hold any promise?
