A lot of the questions are repeats. If you play for a few months you'll eventually be able to answer most of them without reading.

That's true to a certain extent, AA, but I've been doing the quiz for years and even when I know (or remember) the answers, my eye/brain/mouse co-ordination is still several leagues below yours.

Note to self: When guessing yet another movie question, do not pick the one answer you actually know to be incorrect. This is not called "guessing". This is called "stupidity".

Same here. As soon as I saw that today's quiz was "easy" I knew there would be questions about films that I wouldn't be able to answer.

A good score but 100% pure luck. Chuffing business questions; I'll take film questions anyday. At least 10 seconds of my time was taken up gesturing at the screen.

A good guess, or possibly a hazy memory from the last time the question was in the quiz, gets me a 10/10.

You should have used the Guessometer, Wodders - it worked for me. I'd heard of the singers, but took a gamble on which one it was.
Bit after my time, you understand (my time was c.1500-1694 and c.1977-1984).

The Guessometer let me down on the Wild West question (can't say I blame it really), but was excellent on bands I'd never heard of and the enfranchisement of ladies (even changed a wrong to a right on that one).
Sadly, the Speedometer wasn't much cop though ...
