I reckon I've just posted my fastest-ever time - 34 seconds - and it still left me in only 13th place.

Do those of you who get supersonic speeds just read the answers and hope for the best?

Assuming sub-30sec times are "supersonic"...

I try to scan only as much of the question as is necessary to arrive at the right answer. For example, if a question contains the words "curved yellow fruit", I'm going to go and click "banana" in the answers and move on to the next one without ever finding out what the rest of the question actually was.

I get burned by the odd trick (or tricky) question through using this method, but most of the time it works fine [Smile] .

Yes, Attempting to read the entire question is not a good technique for speed.

EDIT: Except on days when the rating is 'hard'... sometimes there ISN'T a good technique for speed.

Don't think I've ever known what the shortest verse in the OT is, so I'm quite chuffed with my 9/10 for Bible Trivia.

Plus, I'm in shock that I still seem to be high in the Top Ten with most of the day done, with that score and a 50 second time...

EDIT: Okay, admittedly if you were playing late in that particular game, there was an incentive to be particularly slow and steady and go for accuracy rather than speed.
