Carrie Fisher - when I last looked, she seemed like she might recover.

Really sad. I saw her on the Last Leg recently, and she was awesome. Wonderful woman, inspiring and engaging. Irrespective of her particular star role.

And if your mind can't help but wander to other choices 2016 didn't deem worthy of consideration, let me hand a recent discovery to covert revolutionaries-- you can totally google "Cheeto voodoo doll", get fairly predictable results, and avoid any bothersome search term algorithms that might garner you special attention.

Just to be safe. [Big Grin]

It will continue to increase over the next few years until there are no talented people left.

That's probably worthy of a Darwin award nomination, although they'll probably not take it due to the involvement of a child. Also, what a shitty thing to do to the poor kid.

I will take a few days to make sure that nobody has died without people realising it at first and publish the results next weekend.

Not quite.

William Christopher, who played the priest in the TV series M*A*S*H died on New Tears Eve2016. Exactly one year after the death of Wayne Rogers who played Trapper John in the same series.

Finally the final scores.

Since my last report in October we have lost four more celebrities from our lists. They are (were?) Fidel Castro, Rabbi Lionel Blue, George Michael & Carrie Fisher.

Of the forty one shipmate entries twenty one scored in 2016 and in an exciting last minute (ish) lunge the winner of the main title is Pomona with 101 points thanks to George Michael. Gwai is second and Light User third.

Gwai & Light User share the Quantity not Quality award with four each. Pomona, Auntie Doris and la vie en rouge scored three.

Light User is confirmed as having the Inside Track With the Grim Reaper for Eric Lubbock.

balaam gets the Sudden Death award for Carrie Fisher.

Finally Gwai & piglet share the Why Does it Always Happen to Me? award with two points.

Congratulations to all the successful death-pickers. Please feel free to brag at the next funeral you attend.

Full results to follow sometime over the weekend.
