O, pardon me, but the People's Republic of Yorkshire was annexed by the Republic of Scotland when the latter's armed forces moved southwards in 2045.
The Scots met with little resistance, and, in fact, were warmly welcomed by the people of Yorkshire, the alternative being annexation by His Littleness the Farage aforementioned.
