Just posted my five thousandth post in circus without realising until Deputy Verger pointed it out.

[Big Grin]

Two point five years on board (three months off when I was banned) makes it about six posts a day. [Eek!]

I love this ship. [Yipee]

Just gone over 1000. I've been here a little longer than Evensong, so that makes it about a post a day.

And running only 100 times slower my two and a half years have notched up 50 with this post - so I'm very nearly a shipmate. I might have to double post and have a double celebration!

At this rate I'll be neck and neck with Mousethief in another 2,500 years - or perhaps not.

As of this post 2097 since 22 May 2006. (It doesn't seem that long!!)

If my math is correct that comes out to about 0.8 posts per day.

Yes, I realize that post 2,332 is, while palindromic, only enough to qualify me for 125th place on the top post count list. Mousethief, you're safe.
However, I did realize while PMing my not-so-secret santa earlier today that it's been six years since I joined the Ship. Even with my (rather long) hiatus, that's a long time!
Happy anniversary to me, then!

Not really a post count, but I realise I have been on board for ten years on 14th.

I would like to explain my pathetically low post count in this time by referring to the time taken up by my dazzling career, the pressures of relentless world travel and my amazingly high-profile social life. Or maybe I just don't have much worth saying most of the time [Big Grin]

Anyhows, still here, still enjoying it, still thanking God for all my fellow shipmates [Smile]

Dang. I couldn't find this thread when I was set to hit 700, and then I wasted it on something I shouldn't have had to ask.

712 posts. Not too shabby. I do wish I could go back and re-read them, though thankfully most of the bad ones are long gone now.

Get me! I innocently google 'Ned Flanders fancy dress' and get directed to a bunch of lively, grumpy, shouty, contemplative and (sometimes intentionally) funny Christians who, it transpires had recently held an entirely Ned-themed party.
