Please pray for C, American husband of a young friend, S. C landed in Dublin this morning on his way to the Midlands and was refused entry into the UK. He has a 5 month visa and will be staying with S and her mother. The customs officials reckoned he didn't have enough money for 5 months. By the time a copy of the wedding certificate could be faxed through, the decision had been taken to send him to Chicago. He's been told he can come back but to fly direct to Heathrow.
Due to circumstances, C & S have spent very little of their married life together.
Please pray that this mess can be sorted out quickly.

Praying for the family of little baby P-- such a tragedy.

Praying for those affected by the terror attacks.

[Votive] [Votive] [Votive]

Thank you for your prayers for my baby granddaughter. It was a very very long day-- we arrived at 6 am for 8:15 am surgery, having stopped all feeds at 1 am. The prior surgery went long, pushing baby Cliffie's surgery back an hour-- then several emergencies pushed it back another four hours. By the time she went into surgery she hadn't had any food for nearly 12 hours and was pretty darn hangry! But the procedure went very well and yielded very good news that bodes well for her next open heart surgery in Nov. She finally got her feed at 6 pm-- then Mr. Cliffdweller walked the hospital halls with her until she fell asleep. Off to bed now finally after a very long day. Thankful for the prayers of so many kind friends.

Praying for all especially for the families of young C. and Phelan as they grieve the loss of their relatives so much earlier than they would have hoped. Praying for Cliffie - thanks for the successful operation and prayers for the further surgery ahead.

My friend R. finally started breathing on his own yesterday and has been moved off intensive care. He needs more surgery for skin grafts and is still not too well, but is definitely getting better.

However my grandfather took a turn for the worse today and though he has stabilised, things are not looking good. My nanna, dad and uncles are having a meeting with his doctors tomorrow morning. He still has not been eating well and has no desire to eat and has been sleeping a lot this week before the crisis today. I thank God that at least he has been much more peaceful and not frustrated or in too much discomfort and also that I know he is ready to go and be with God whenever that time may be. He had made it clear that he does not want any unnecessary treatment.

It's still very sad though. I barely knew my other grandfather as he was a violent man towards family and died when I was 3. This grandfather has been everything the other one was not and also a father figure to my mum, who never had a caring father. Please also pray for my nanna, dad and uncles who will be hardest hit if my grandfather dies and for guidance for all the family on how to support my nanna.

Could I please ask for prayers for a Shippie, who doesn't post often; not exactly a spring chicken, very creative and funny.

She has (minor, from what I understand) eye surgery in a few hours, not quite sure what it is all about. Has to get up at 4 or 4.30am, foodless, coffeeless, and will be driven to the iSurgeon for a 6.30am (!) appointment and operation, and then back after that; this is US EDTime today, 19th (UTC -4).

Please, in your kindness, pray for P, who is terribly worried and upset (and coffeeless - cause for additional grumpitude!). Thank you. [Smile]

[Votive] for all who post, and those who don't dare.

Lord, in your Mercy, hear our prayer.

Pres. Trump is going to address the UN, either today or tomorrow. Please pray that he doesn't spark World War III. Seriously.

I'm so tired of being alone - flatbound... and somehow I have to magic up stuff like confidence and comms myself?

I can't do it...

I don;t want to be a burden... but I am desperately lonely...
