This phone is giving me a lot of problems that I can't see with my vision issues.
Of course I'm praying for wonders (like a miracle) but I'm also praying for Wodders too.

((Uncle Pete and Wodders))
An urgent prayer request: a friend of ours who is suffering depression left his house at 9.30 this morning and hasn't been seen since. The police have been informed and he has been reported as a missing person. Please pray that Alun will be found and that he is safe. Please also pray for his wife, who is not the most stable, and their 4 children.

Of your charity, would you pray for the soul of my dad, who passed away peacefully earlier today at the age of 93.
May he rest in peace and rise in glory.

Perhaps - as I felt with Uncle Pete - the life he has left is not the one he lived and loved but only a pale shadow of it.
May they find better, where they have gone

Thanks, all. I think Mrs. S. hit it on the head about the lives both Dad and Uncle Pete lived, and I found myself feeling glad that Pete didn't have to suffer the cancer and its effects for too long.
As D. put it when I told him about Pete, he lived life to the very best, against all the odds, and never let his disabilities stop him from doing what he wanted to do.
Dad didn't have anything like the obstacles Pete faced, but like him, he filled his life with the things he wanted to do.
May they both rest in peace.
