I am facing a major decision. Nothing bad, but potentially life-changing. I would appreciate prayer for discernment. Thank you.

[Votive] For Cottontail, for discernment

[Votive] Please remember Marsha in your prayers. She's been suffering from a degenerative nerve disease for as long as I've known her; now she's been diagnosed with a brain tumor, which is affecting her speech and other functions. She's brave and snarky, but it's a bad situation.

My Mum fell in the night and is complaining of not being able to move her arm. The hospital she is in* is sending her for x-ray. I would really like it if it was not broken as that would mean she could be discharged into a nursing home tomorrow.

Thanks

Jengie

*Mum is at high risk of falls and her falls are almost impossible to eliminate as she will not use walking aids; a fall does not indicate bad practice.

[Votive] for Nicole's brother

[Votive] I just learned that my friend Jane, a contract worker, will not be renewed, and has about three weeks to try to find another job. She's intelligent, talented, and hard-working, but,as she says, "It's hard to find a job when you're fat, female, and 50."

daisymay last posted on Facebook in 2013 - posting she was on her way to Mull (which was posted here at the time, so I'm not outing her. I met her at the ferry terminal at Oban on my way back - the last time I saw her. She didn't recognise me).

For DaisyMay, and all other Shipmates in difficulty or missing.

For all of us, especially the H/As and the backstage folks making the new Ship.

May the New Ship sail smoothly and safely to wonderful places. May the transition be easy for everyone, with no one lost.

May this Ship rest happily where it docks, full of good memories, and holograms of Shipmates living them out. May it eventually join the Celestial Edition of the Ship, with Shipmates who've crossed over. (And a certain Gator happily paddling around. [Smile] )

And may our memories of this Ship rest easy in our minds.

If that's too personal, just ignore this post.

Thx.
