I used to be able to post URL's. I would use the edit function in the upper left corner of my screen. I would "copy" the URL from the address line of the web page I wanted to link. Then I would go in to the reply screen, click on URL, a pop-up would over the reply and I would go to the edit fundtion and click on "paste."
Now I can't do it because the URL pop-up goes to the upper left corner and covers the edit function. I can't get to the "paste" to click on it.
What am I doing wrong?

Twilight, you can either click and drag the box to move it, or use Ctrl + v to paste (you don't have to go to Edit on the menu bar).

You can also click the right button on your mouse, which will bring up a menu with the copy and paste options.
