Padre B, don't make the changes in your profile right now. Use this board to learn how to mix the url into the message you want to post.
So that you can post quote: The fields are green unto harvest: we are seeking men and women to be Army Chaplains:
and it will show up in your sig as the title to a link to http://www.army.mod.uk/chaps,

I should know this but I don't: If I make a mistake in a post notice it AFTER I press "add reply" is there a way to correct it with having to wait the two minutes and have an annoying double post, the first with an egregious typo and the second corrected.
Thanks.

Neener back . I was celebrating the end result. Here's again, celebrating the process: 5006, 5007, 5008!
It seems a year ago it didn't seem to update right away, but across all posts, not just double posts, but maybe I was confused then. (I'm still confused, just the subject matter changes.)

That's why we have this thread. No need to feel silly when everyone else here is also figuring things out.
If you don't believe me, look up a few posts and notice that it took me over six years (most of those as a host) and umpteen thousands of posts before I finally understood that multiple posts *do* update your post-count.
And nobody (trust me, nobody) reads this thread except to practice, ask questions, or provide assistance; it's simply too boring even for a troll.
