I went to the Thinking Anglicans site today,
Will Adam is writing about the implications for the Church of England of the election of the appointment of a woman as a bishop in the Church of Ireland: article “… This is bound to bring up again the question of the recognition in a Church which does not permit the ordination of

For the last few weeks I have been trying - not every day, but on and off quite a lot - to log on to ~SofF on my new laptop. I gradually learnt what was going on (with SuperNova voice and magnification) so this evening made one last effort ... and succeeded! So I'm feeling quite pleased!

M$Word and M$Outlook both use unicode for direct text input, which means that they do not parse meta-codes like we can in HTML and UBB here on the Ship. So, you'll need to look up the hidden reference of "special characters" on your computer. 1) OSX: either "file" or "edit" menu at top there should be a "special characters" option that will open up box with everything you need. 2) Window$: under the Start Menu - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools is a program called "Character Map" with all the characters you're likely to need.
Cheers.
