It just occurred to me that this joke relies on a certain amount of gender stereotyping... We (in Oz) have had women priests for 10 yrs now, yet I wonder how many of us constructed a mental image of a woman when we read the OP (which has no mention of gender).
If we visualise women as priests - think: 'Priest', mental image: woman in collar. The joke becomes even poorer and less cohesive.
