Layoffs have hit my office. Second round of them this fiscal year, and we were short staffed before that happened. Please pray for soft landings for those who are gone and that the rest of us can somehow keep the behemoth moving.

Traveling mercies for my husband as he takes our son back to the airport early tomorrow, for our son as he heads back across the country, may both their journeys be safe.
For our son as he leaves his wife, and for her as she waits for the word that she can finally move and be with him again. That her pregnancy goes well as they face another separation.
Lord, thank you for listening and shipmates for praying.

Thank you for your prayers. I did the scary thing and I'm really glad I did. There have already been consequences that hurt like hell, but I think they're necessary, like ripping off a bandage.

Reading and praying.
Has been good so far to have Mum around - I'm in uni all day every day so I think I'll get my tea made for me!
Prayers especially today for families and the relationships therein. For mothers and daughters, fathers and sons, brothers and sisters. For understanding each other and not pushing the buttons we know to be most effective. For mutual support and encouragement. For strong bonds over great distances and healing in fractured or dislocated relationships.

Please pray for Stuart, separated from his family, struggling with difficult relationships and trying to rebuild his life.
He has a new place to live and a new job which started yesterday. Please pray that he finds positive ways to deal with his inevitable grief and confusion. Please pray that he quickly finds a new routine of home and work, and takes comfort from it. May God strengthen and uphold him.

for those enduring the necessary pain of growth (good on ya, Enigma!)
I would really appreciate a prayer for an uncomfortable situation facing my workplace today. Best case scenario: someone accepts guidance and does someone quick growing up. Worst case: a necessary termination that will cause a whole lot of grief for everyone involved.

I resolve to more regularly and better pray through the requests on this thread this year - please pray that I actually do so!
Also requesting prayer for an application I've sent off for a course I really really really want to do, and also for some idea of how I might fund myself to do it. It'd be a big direction change for me w*rk-wise, but I think it's the right thing.

I ask for prayers for the repose of the soul of Quinn, who fought cancer for more than 6 years, more than half of his short 12 years on this earth.
May light perpetual shine upon him and may he rest in peace.
Please pray for his family and friends, and if I may ask for you to remember my mom in your prayers as she was Quinn's hearing teacher for the past 5 years and is devestated.

My cousin B gave birth last night to a baby girl. Both mother and Child are happy and healthy so far. Pray thanks to God for bringing baby F into the world, and also that this new arrival may help the wider family learn to talk to each other again. For B,S and those supporting them.
For B, having rather painful-sounding issues with wisdom teeth.
I have a somewhat busy year ahead of me, prayers that I can keep on top of it all and enjoy the ride would be appreciated.

Please pray for P, a hard working dad of two who is suffering from severe work-related stress at present. He's one of the backers for the new company my boss is setting up.
Lord, may it all work out for everyone's sake. May P find rest and renewed strength during a couple of days off. May we all find the strength to go through this waiting period, where the future seems so full of uncertainty and the possibility of more disaster.
