Have read through and am praying [Votive]

Please pray for my friend J - her husband John died last year from cystic fibrosis. Today would have been his birthday and yesterday their flat was broken into.

Please pray wisdom for my nephew. He is at the high school choosing level and unfortunately his abilities and his mates indicate different schools.

Secondly he is a talented kid, particularly he has talent that means he could be amongst the elite in one particular thing. The problem is that if he wants to be, he has to make a huge commitment to it now with no guarantee of success.

Please pray for Kitty. [Votive] She has been hospitalized and kept in a medically induced coma for a week and a half with pneumonia, a collapsed lung and now kidney failure. She's finally been diagnosed with swine flu, so the doctors have a better shot at treating the cause, not just the symptoms. Also pray for her partner, Sven. [Votive]

If I could slip in and request any spare prayers for my husband. He potentially has H1N1 flu, and really can't afford to miss all the classes if he has to go under full quarantine (he's doing a pre-requisite year for entering nursing school, and has to get top grades to be admitted to nursing school next year). Please let this just be ordinary flu. I'm also wishing I could be of more comfort and help to him, but have been relegated to my in-laws until there is clearer indication of exactly what he is dealing with.

[Votive] for the spoken and unspoken needs on this thread.

Prayers continuing for all here [Votive]

No news still on sister's brain scan, so prayers still needed there. And my friend whose dad died in terrible circumstances last weekend is not coping and could do with upholding, if people can spare a prayer for them too. And if it's too way too much to ask for, any spare prayer left over would be appreciated for me, since I've reached a point where I feel I haven't got the strength to continue with a part of my life, and I know that I so need to keep going. I need the wisdom to know where to get help, and how.

My daughter is in hospital (again with a foot inflamation. This is about the 6th one she's had over the last 4 years. They don't know why it keeps happening, but antibiotics seem to bring the inflamation down.
It would be nice to find a cause for it though.

Grandbaby #3 is taking her own sweet time coming. JB will be doing a quick trip to Florida on Monday to check how his "baby girl" is doing. Please pray for our family this week.

Also, I found out our friend, Orlando, was in a terrible accident and is in the hospital in Colorado. His cousin said he's in a bad way, so please keep him in prayer.

Thank you.

Of course you can. I have a friend who is not only a fully trained maths teacher, she teaches other people to be maths teachers. She also graduated with a first in applied maths.

Girls can do maths, and when they do they normally do it better than boys.

Jengie

p.s. the majority of my maths teachers were female, this was due to going to an all girls high school.

My neice is still desperately unhappy - even though she went home for a couple of days. She sees the Dean of Uni tomorrow to talk through options - but she is so stressed, upset, tired and anxious that she's finding it hard to think straight, let alone decide about her future. And to top it all, it's her birthday on Thursday.

Please pray for her to dredge up strength from somewhere. [Votive]
