NB: the GE 1899 rules exclude any further loop manoeuvres today, this being a Wednesday after a public holiday and in a Jubilee Year.

Do the GE 1899 rules apply outside the old GER lines?
It doesn't matter now anyway, and it's difficult to get to M.C. as it's at the top of a freaking loop, especially from Morden.

Sorry to be PITA guys, but you can only go to Ongar from Royal Oak if the temperature in London is above 75F or if a close relative of the monarch is in hospital (Trumpington-Smythe protocol, 1933).

That is as close to sharp practice as I've seen in this game: within the letter but hardly the spirit. As for the remark about props in midfield, I resemble that remark!
Now back to the game, from your Turnham Green we go to Golders Green.

I've wondered whether to react to this. I've never seen the point of not playing to win, yet already twice I've refrained from using the rules to press a victory - and for good reason: when I do, I find I'm upsetting the applecart.
If the spirit of your version is not the red-in-tooth-and-claw spirit of ISIHAC, please advise and I'll leave you to your aimless Christmas afternoon activities.
But while I'm here, in honour of the Boks' victory yesterday, I'll take us all the way to:
