Today, on National Nurse's Day, I am remembering all the nurses that have been good to me. They do such a great service to people. And on this day, I remember my Mom, who was a nurse.

God bless all you nurses today.

Laughing hysterically at that one., SS.

When the American made "HGTTG" movie was in theaters, JB and I got our towels and bathrobes to see it, but we didn't have "Don't Panic" on the towel. [Killing me]

Today, 12th May 2012, is the bicentenary of Edward Lear. The Ship of Fools ought to remember him, as I'm sure he would have approved of the site and we have, from time to time, a limerick thread, which was one of his favourite forms.

Among several others elevated to Sainthood status today is Kateri Tekakwitha, the very first aboriginal North American to be so honored.

A fellow who sings for me (in PA) is a member of the Mohawk Nation; his mother sent him a beautiful medal in celebration of Kateri's Big Day.
