(I did do a search to find if anything had been said, but nothing showed up. Unless I goofed...)

I just get a vertical, black line where a votive is supposed to be, both in posts and in the selection of smilies.

Is it just me? If not, may we please have our votives back? They're comforting.

Thx!

[Votive]

Edit: it's just you.

Try clearing your browser's cache of temporary files.

If I give a homeopathy advocate a really huge punch in the face, can the injury be cured by giving them another really small punch in the face?

It's there. It's still bouncing up and down, though - must be a quirk of IE8.

Not for me, neither when viewed in Safari or Firefox, both on OSX. I would prefer not to restart my computer in Windows to see what it looks like in Internet Exploder.

Ok, it seems to be a quirk of the Mozilla-based browser (Sea Monkey) I've been using lately. IME, it's much more stable than IE...but I use IE for some things, too. So will just need to open the Ship in IE.

Thanks, everyone!

Ok here on Arch Linux* + Chromium [Votive] , but there's a gap between [Angel] and [brick wall] in the list of smilies. I think that's to leave space for [Axe murder] 's shower of hearts.

* to show that I'm geekier than Seasick!

Dunno. Perhaps it's a particularly enthusiastic prayer smiley that's jumping up and down.
