Relatively minor, but I have to take a day off subbing because of it-- I have somehow lost both sets of my car/ house keys. I'm hoping that I will find them in the light of day tomorrow, but tonight nothing's coming up.

So yeah, St. Anthony, it's my turn. [Frown]

for no_prophet and his family that there may be as much healing and peace as may be possible after the horrible ordeal he and his family have been enduring

for Smudgie and Smudgelet in thanks for a good development

for PeteC's sister as she nears retirement

Prayers that Kelly finds her keys. I empathise totally, having been in similar situations all too often. It's no fun, having to put one's whole life on hold for something so seemingly trivial.

So far i'm still feeling good, just a little skin itchiness at times some of which i'm petty sure is from the treatment i'm getting. Continuing prayers that it may do what it's supposed to do.

continuing prayers for my cousin to internalise the need for a changed focus in his life if he is to have a real chance at success in life.

i've put off thinking about it lately because what are normal transactions for most can seem overwhelmingly complicated for me, but i really need to find an uncomplicated way to obtain an inexpensive and reliable car. I've not had one for 2 years and due to where i live the lack of one has really inhibited me doing things i really need/want to do

for Pulsar, my feline companion, and continuing prayers for me to understand how to give her the best environment for the happiest life for her

For healing for Woderwick's Mrs E.

Thank You for the guilty verdict for no_prophet's M's violent attacker. For recovery for all. For all women, young and old, who have been attacked by sexual predators and are living with the shock, trauma and fear. For women, girls, men, boys who have been attacked, and how to put ideas into action.

For the return of Kelly's - oh, there they are. Thank You.

For PeteC's sister.

For healing for malik3000. For his cousin to internalise the need for a changed focus in his life. For an uncomplicated way to get an inexpensive and reliable car. For little Pulsar.

For Yam-uk's G and L, for healing. For J, for healing.

For Sioni Sais' J and H. For healing for H.

For Meg the Red's friend's abusers, that they would wake up to themselves and stop it.

For the situation at Spiffy's workplace.

It's sinking in how much better (I think) that particular redeployment option would be if it were offered to me. For that, or funding to stay as I am. Whichever's best.

For G., for healing.

For R. and J.

For O., I hope it's nothing.

For an extra day and an extra dollar.

For healing for Auntie Telenun.

For the Telemum.

I've had an outbreak of the cellulitis on my left foot, where i had it before approx. 3 yrs ago. The plus side is that I'm not in any pain like i was before because i caught it sooner -- i spent the biggest part of saturday in the ER and am taking antibiotics. However there isn't an almost immediate noticing of subsiding of the rash like last time.

I'd be concerned about this anyway, as i think it's rather nasty and the infection can get in the blood. But given my ongoing treatment for metastatic melanoma, i'm as concerned about how this affects that. It's good though that what i'm being infused with (ipilimumab) is not chemo in the standard way -- instead of suppressing the immune system it does the opposite, i.e., takes the brakes off so that my own immune system, rather than a chemical, fight the cancerous cells.

If it weren't for this cellulitis outbreak i'd feel great -- still no appreciable side effects from the therapy.

Prayers for all taking ipilimumab for melanoma -- may it do its job on all who are taking it!

For healing for malik3000's cellulitis and, of course, the melanoma.

For all taking ipilimumab for melanoma.

For Gigabites youth project, for finances to keep going.

For A.

For the Telemum.

My current contract has been extended by one month, yay! May I do an excellent job. And may I step neatly into another excellent job, or stay in this one.

For K., also job-hunting.

For R. and J.

For G.

I would very much appreciate prayers for the birdie family's current selling up/moving/finding school for the kids situation. Particularly the school bit. Because of both kids' medical needs it's potentially very complicated (although also might not be) and I'm feeling really, really overwhelmed by it all.

For resolution of Churchy LaFemme's M's job difficulties. For Churchy to make the best use of this new stage in her life. For healing of her little health worry. For Pulsar.

For resolution and information regarding saysay's ongoing situation. And some hope.

For a successful vaccination for the North East Teens.

For a successful move and school selection for the baby birdies.

For the people of Christchurch. For Huia, DadHuia, the Brothers Huia, and sister-in-law Huia.

I now have a nexus of things that could be REALLY GREAT if they turn out as I hope, but everything's going really slowly. For the redeployment/continued employment, completion of dragging-on tasks including massively increased productivity from me, and for the long-standing ambition which seems to lie just on the other side of a tiny bit of paperwork.

I have an audition on Saturday, which I pray I get if it's as cool as I think it is.

For me to sort my life out once and for all. This time. Not like all the other times.

For G., for healing.

For T., for healing.

Our son-in-law Billy is making a near-miraculous recovery from his immune-system crash in January...his doctor told him, "You were about as close to death as anyone can come."

He's doing so well, in fact, that he's scheduled to come home Friday -- yay! But he is still struggling to maintain a healthy white blood cell count, and has a couple of persistent infections that need to clear up; so our son Brian has requested more prayers and positive thoughts.

And please include Brian in your prayers too. Now that we're here in Florida with the kids, we see every day how dependent Billy is on Brian and how much responsibility Brian has on his shoulders -- all while trying to get back to his job on a part-time basis AND close on the kids' new house. (In the meantime we've been staying in their rental home...and believe me, they really need to get out of here.) These two have been through so much in the last couple of months...we are so proud of them for being the fine, brave men they are, but at the same time we worry, and pray that they can enjoy a new start in a new, healthy, accessible home.

Some of you might remember the Oscar Grant case from several years ago. An African-American man was "accidentally" killed by a transit cop in a BART subway station in Oakland, California. Riots ensued. The cops shot another African-American man over the weekend...who turns out to be Oscar's cousin. Fortunately, he's still alive.

But this could get very nasty. If protesters get violent again...and if Occupy Oakland (sometimes violent) gets in on the act...and if the Oakland cops act unwisely (as they have in the past),...

For a successful vaccination for the North East Teens.
Thank you. Elder teen vaccinated , but the doctor postponed doing younger teen, given her medical history. (The school notes said, wrongly, that we had refused earlier vaccination. The doctor has confirmed that her notes show that the previous refusal was by our doctor. So we've been re-classified from wacko anti-vacc parents, to sensible parents who followed medical advice! [Smile] )

I would like younger teen to be vaccinated - prayers, please, that this happens successfully at some point?

I am scared that my tendonitis is coming back. My left arm started to hurt a bit, so I took an aspirin. This is my busy season at work and I don't want to have to take time off for physical therapy. Prayers needed. Praying for all here.

Praying [Votive]

For C and T in uncertain times.

I'm off to the GP next week to push harder on why I am always exhausted - clear answers would be good.

Coming home I find I have lost an earring. Not a cheap one...its too dark and rainy to go looking for it tonight.
Prayers I might find it in the morning appreciated, please...its not the loss of the earring (although that is bad enough) it is the loss of the peace of mind that goes with it...I HATE loosing things. A minor irritation in the grand scheme of things, but...

Prayers for all who have asked, the worried, the wordless, the fearful, the lost, the lonely and the depressed.

Please pray for my friend G's daughter and son who are experiencing bullying at school. Some of it seems to be related to the fact that they are the only white western non-muslims in the school, some of it just 'normal' childhood nastiness. Wisdom for G to know how to deal with the situation and help her kids.

For Ethne Alba's K.

For continued healing for BillyTheChik. For BrianTheChik, for relief of responsibility, and smooth handling of all housing and financial matters.

For peace in Oakland. For healing for Oscar Grant's cousin. For the police involved in the shooting.

For Dad Shrew to get the job.

For swift and successful vaccination of North East Teen Minor.

For healing of Sir Kevin's tendonitis.

For Malin's C and T. For healing of the exhaustion.

For the return of St Everild's earring.

For resolution of the bullying at the school of Lucia's G's daughter and son.

Still haven't heard about the interview I had one week ago. I don't think I should be worried, but I do need guidance as to what exactly to do next, like, exactly what I can do with the most impact tomorrow. For the most terrific resolution possible to come of this.

For G., for healing.

For R. and J.

For the Telemum.

For healing for Auntie Telenun.

For G.

For T., for healing.

For me... I have felt quite ill today. I assume it's nothing serious but need to be at my best over the next few days.
