Prayers please for a good old man dying in hospital at the moment, his wife who has mild dementia and hasn't seemed to have accepted how ill he is, his daughter stuck in a country around the other side of the world who's just had biggish minor surgery herself and the rest of the family.

The last enemy to be destroyed is death...

[Votive] for all who've posted. May God bless us all.

And thank you for the prayer for my back. It is on the mend!

I think it's actually 'Dark Knight' with a 'K'.

I concur.

For all and sundry. Especially the sundries. 'Blessed are the sundries, for, amongst the major causes ('sixes') they shall be summarily forgotten (or almost)'.

For any one or any cause that seems so hopeless or forgotten that it remains unvoiced by the good and pious of this day and age.

please play for the repose of Samantha Koenig. She disappeared 2 months ago and today they found her body. also please pray for her family, who must be gutted.

and please, pray for those of us who were involved in a very similar story almost 10 years ago. I'm furious and heartbroken all over again, though this time I didn't know the victim or her family. a surprising amount of feelings are being dredged up again.

I just want to beat the living hell out of something.

story here.

Prayers for all --so much hurt, violence and injustice

Having my weekly blood test today to see if my liver enzyme levels stay low enough for my vital 3rd anti-melanoma infusion next week. A bit nervous since i accidentally consumed yesterday that i fear could make the levels spike. Hope i'm just being paranoid. [Votive] [Votive]

Today is our second wedding anniversary - that's a very good thing and I know I am really lucky to have such a lovely husband.

The hard bit is that I thought we would have a child or I would be pregnant now. I genuinely feel really sad today and wish I didn't. [Frown]

For continued healing for The Weeder.

For Enigma.

For all in affected Oakland.

For justice at Jahlove's workplace.

For justice for Dark Knight.

What Sir Pellinore said.

For the repose of the soul of Samantha Koenig. For her family to be comforted. For all such as comet who are triggered by this.

For healing for malik3000.

For blessings for Welease Woderwick's Manju and his bride.

For a baby for Auntie Doris.

I finally heard back from the redeployment guy. The post seems unappetizing - I think I was fobbed off and strung along. Either way, I'd rather stay in my current post, but I'd also like more opportunities for career development. I have three months to scan the horizon now... lo the reset button has been hit on my Quest for Jobs, the odyssey that knows no end. ('cept if I stay in post for 3 years I think they have to give me a job...)

Anyway, my contract has been re-extended again, that's the main thing. [Yipee]

For a happy anniversary and many more for Auntie Doris and her husband and all bountiful blessings on them

For Mamacita and for all trying to do something to counter violence. And for all the victims (direct and indirect) of violence -- in Chicago, in Oakland, in my beloved New Orleans, and around the world

For guidance and success for Telepath in all endeavours

For my cousin C., things not looking any better, still needing discernment to somehow to get on, at age 37, a productive track in life, he doesn't seem to be moving any closer to it, and it concerns me more and more -- tho God knows it's not because of laziness on C's part. And his laptop, which he needs, was stolen (not to be judgemental but could he exercise better discernment with some of the people he apparently trusts?) And since the computer has the computer equivalent of a Lo-Jack, let the computer be recovered

[Yipee] Halleluyah! my liver enzyme levels were perfectly fine!! Next week is infusion no. 3, may it zap that melanoma

That i can get my affairs better organised -- such as medical benefits, how to organise finances post-retirement from present job, straightening out of taxes. Thanks for the gift of friends helping me in this. And if anti-ADHD medication can help me climb out of this pit of confusion, may i get it (right now trying to get an appt with a shrink with a heavy schedule)

That i soon -- really soon -- can be driving a car

But at the same time that the public transport system situation may improve -- especially for all dependent on it, and for the bus drivers about to be laid off from our local transit system

In thanks to the Creator for having created other living, feeling beings along with us humans, and that humans may treat them as the precious wonderful gifts they are.

For a happy anniversary, and a baby, for Auntie Doris.

For Mamacita, please multiply her efforts. And for all the victims of violence in London.

For malik3000's C. to get his life sorted out and his computer back. For continued healing for malik3000, and for him to get his own life, brain, etc. sorted out. For a car, and for improvement of public transportation, and for the bus drivers about to be laid off.

Yay for Sir Kevin, may his healing continue.

For J., about to go into hospice care, and V. her daughter.

For K. I am worried.

Boss has applied for another grant that would keep me in post for some time longer. I am to think of ideas to contribute, so, for inspiration!

The Telemum is full of the joys of spring today. Praise You!

For K.

I also pray I haven't embarrassed myself...

Many thanks for prayers.

Update: phone call today from senior manager; I am being offered the option of going on the next scheduled six-week training course to learn about a different area of the business. This area was my *preferred option* after the last reshuffle (which I didn't get at that time). Course starts the day my current medical certificate expires so, all in all, could hardly be a better outcome/timing.

Most of all, I feel justified and vindicated in having made this semi-formal (not *formal* as in official Grievance) complaint of bullying, that is to say, I have been believed. There may possibly be some *mediation* between me and erstwhile line manager but that's for sometime in the future.

Am looking into the possibility of becoming a union rep myself.

My friend S has recently spent some time in hospital helping to look after his sick father. They have been home for a while and the medicos are happy with progress but yesterday his mum was admitted to another hospital with bronchitis and complications so his younger sister is there helping to look after her and S is still looking after dad and unable to restart work - I spoke to him early this morning and although he was trying to sound positive and laugh it off he sounds exhausted. Prayers and upholding welcomed.

My mother, Loretta, died very suddenly but peacefully this morning.
Of your charity, please pray for the repose of her soul and for our family.......

For healing for daisymay's daughter-in-law's mother.

For Boadicea Trott, in the loss of her mother. For the repose of Loretta's soul. For the family.

Bit worried about one of the dragging-on tasks - it leaves me more dependent on Boss than I would like. Anyway... for further extension of contract, abundance all round &c.

For Auntie Telenun.

For the Telemum.

Praying for all here.

And thank you for praying for me. I have got over feeling upset about the lack of contact from the people I was with when my back went.
