For a friend from many years ago, just hospitalized. Don't know what it is but the message made it sound serious.
Please pray for the soul of one of my colleagues, who died yesterday. She retired just four months for health reasons, having struggled for years with painful and debilitating case of Parkinson's.

A special prayer for Auntie Doris going through great difficulty even though the crisis is over

My friend Jan had the most gruelling and painful tests yet and I was expecting her to be distressed when she called but she sounded quite calm and even buoyed up. She said the kindness and caring of her specialist and medical staff was so supportive that she wasn't afraid and that for her fear is always what makes pain unbearable. Thanks for all the prayers.

Please pray for those who knew and loved the 5 children who died in a house fire in this city last night.
For their family and friends.
I am connected with their school and I know they will be struggling to come to terms with it there too.
So sad. I didn't know the children personally but there will be five fewer little faces next time I'm there.

Am I allowed to ask for prayers for me tomorrow - going into hospital for not-major but uncomfortable-afterwards surgery...an operation that leaves most people feeling nauseaous and I don't tolerate anaesthetics very well as it is ![[Frown]](frown.gif) ...

Please pray for my friends G and L. They have been waiting for over a year to foster a little girl, C, with very severe multiple health problems. They have trained and re-trained in her care, and every time they thought she was coming to them, it was delayed. They loved and prayed for little C through all that time. C finally came to them on Thursday; when L went to get her up this morning she found she had died in her sleep.
for G, L, their daughter L and other fostered child M.
And for C, may she rest in peace, and rise in glory.

A while ago I asked for prayers for a friend in a coma, and her family. She has not come out of the coma, prognosis is bad, there seems to be no brain activity or hope of recovery.
Please keep her and her family in your prayers.
