Attended 2 different hospitals and 3 doctors with a person who had a bleeding issue, only to get anti-bleeding medications and develop a clot. Now between bleeding on the one hand which continues, and them wanting to dissolve the clot on the other. Drugs on both sides. My science and hope combine to render an answer!

I read through this thread daily though don't generally post on it very often. This is what I think and meditate and try to pray on in my underconfident and uncertain mind:

That those who are suffering may have calm and support. That those who need answers may find them. That all of us in the world may be sensitive to the needs of others. That we and the world may all be forgiven. That we may see an end to tears and sorrow. That we all may live following Jesus' example. Amen

For comet's Shadow and his wife, may they rest in peace and rise in glory.

For Kelly's Cherie and her daughter Savannah, and for the repose of the soul of Kevin.

So, today's nuance in my relatively trivial problem set is that I am annoyed by the lack of a career path and the suppression of my efforts in some very important areas. Maybe it is best that I leave my current workplace. Dunno. Lord, please guide me and please don't test me too hard or too long?

For the Telemum.

Oh dear God, the Girl has freaked out and dumped all her anger on her mom (The Magician's ex). There was a call from the ex, then the Girl so upset, he could barely understand her. He just left to pick her up (she lives over an hour away) and bring her back here again. I don't know what the heck is happening, except she dumped a lot of anger on her mom and mom's boyfriend. I am not so sure I am ready for this. She's 15. I just ask for prayers. I live in a 1 bedroom and...well, how do you eat an elephant? Answer: one bite at a time. Praise God that she is dealing with her feelings now.

For no_prophet's friend, for healing.

For duchess, the Magician, the Girl and her mom.

For harmony hope's family.

Boss wants me to attend a meeting with $BIGCORP next week, after I've left. It's unclear what is in this for me, other than networking and the Mere Exposure principle, but I'll do it and hope it turns out to be a good idea. Feeling rather crabby about my prospects today. Guidance, please, kthx.

Praying for everyone by name

(((((Robert Armin}}}}} How awful -- and the Head didn't even have the decency to tell you face to face

Halleluyah! thanksgiving for the miracle that Lamb Chopped got workplace justice

St Everild, for peace of mind -- having had 2 smash-ins recently one does feel violated. My landlord, God bess him, put in new strengthened security measures which has made me feel better.

A prayer for Dan, my landlord, a very decent guy, and a prayer that he can get good folks to move in next dor (i think the boyfriend of one of the members of the previous tenant's family had a hand in the 2 recent break-ins at my place)

for discernment for Telepath and for steady paying gigs

for Duchess' dad and her family, and that she have strength to cope with everything

for the mother of the kid in NE Quine's class -- may the probabilities be overcome by God's infinite possibilities

for Comet

Peace for Kelly Alves' Kevin and strength and healing for Cherie and Savannah, and Kelly

Off to another of my several medical specialists today, for him to give me the details of the results of last week's follow-up biopsy. Fingers ever so slightly crossed --- i have been so blessed. There have been some remarkable breakthroughs in the last year or so for what used to be usually a rather quick death sentence. Thanks that I got this diagnosis when i did and not 2 years earlier. Also i'm nearing the completion of the wearying steps needed to get my financial and medical-benefits house in order now that i've retired from my county job. Now i just need to a car. Thanks to God that i have a future to look forward to. Thanks for all the uplifting in prayer by so many -- here on the Ship and elsewhere

Prayers please for my dear friends K & G. Their daughter and her fiance were brutally murdered in 1994 and now people want this fellow to be released (there are a bunch of reasons, different laws have been passed age wise, prisons are crowded, his wife is pushing hard & has a group backing her, etc.) They end up reliving this time in their lives over and over again when he comes up for parole and this time it looks very seriously like he may get some extra attention and possible consideration. It was in our local paper this morning.

And also, a friend, J, is on his way to his mother's place. She is totally unaware of who she is, or of anything around her. She is just concerned about her dog and neighbors have found her curled up in the dog's bed. Prayers that he can be a blessing to her and get her the help she needs.

Little things: tomorrow I have a medical to see if I can train for ordination (don't foresee it being an issue, but didn't see myself needing a medical either). Friday long drive after husband finishes work in prep for saturday - mum's wedding. Emotionally fraught. Children with in laws for the weekend should make it easier but I'll miss them. The wedding itself I am dreading for various reasons. Please pray that at some point in the next 4 days I feel peaceful.

For Tyneside, Colorado, and all areas affected by flooding. For the safe return of Mrs Tor.

For the safe return of the Telemum, who is probably not flooded but is not answering her phone.

I am doing my homework for Monday's interview. I am having a tight squeeze to get everything done in time and done well. Please let me ace this one without taking too much time or over- or under-thinking.

For a private intention.

She waited, then got on a bus. Simple as that.

Probably the easiest journey home of anyone in the area. A friend working nearby abandoned his usual travel plans and ended up wading through waist-deep water in order to get home.

There is a bright side, though. The Torlet's school is flooded, which means we can bring forward our travel plans by several hours...

Please pray for my nephew who is spending his 3rd birthday in hospital with asthma. He's been in and out of hospital quite a few times this winter and is now on preventative medicines but they don't seemed to have improved things.

On top of this my brother (his father) and his family live nearly two hours from us all and my sister-in-law's relatives so it's hard to give support. They get lots of support from church family but s-i-l has put my sisters' noses out of joint by thanking their 'famiy' on FB (meaning church friends) on a couple of occasions recently. I think it's a little tactless but my sisters think she is deliberately criticising us all for not being there.

My sisters pretty much accused her (behind her back) of enjoying the attention when nephew is in hospital and my older sister thinks she might be deliberately not administering his medication properly. She believes this because my nephew is on a medication that worked wonders for my older sister and myself with our asthma. However neither of us ever had to be hospitalised with asthma.

I don't believe my sister in law would do such a thing and the poor kid has asthma genes on both sides of the family so it's not suprising if he has bad asthma. The family tensions and accusations are seriously stressful. Please pray this doesn't cause permanent divisions in my close knit family as I fear it will.

I have tasks to do for next week that affect a load of other people. Time is running out, struggling for inspiration and even to be able to find and buy the things that are needed. Feeling stressed and overwhelmed and a sense that I have failed to get things organised that I should have. Prayers appreciated.
