I would appreciate prayers. I have my 20 week scan on Wednesday and I am getting increasingly anxious. I know the likelihood is that everything will be fine but I am definitely prone to worrying!

Can I ask your prayers for a difficult situation, please?

I've got involved in investigating a serious issue affecting a swathe of the christian community at large. This involves requires sorting out fact from a lot of fiction and has quite serious ramifications.

It's exhausting, as is the sense of something that's evil in a really insidious way.

I ask for prayers for more light to break forth, for protection of all kinds for all involved, including the perpetrators, for appropriate priorities, and for lots and lots of wisdom every step of the way. Thanks.

For the rebuilding of Christchurch, especially in the eastern part of the town.

For Zacchaeus' A's family situation to improve.

(thanks Grammatica)

For health, upholding, and private intentions for Golden Key.

For all those known to Mary LA who died of AIDS last week. Repose for their souls.

For those at Helen-Eva's workplace who are being deselected (ouch).

For the success of mini doris on Wednesday.

Yay duchess!

For Lamb Chopped.

Lord be a lamp unto Eutychus' feet, and a light unto his path. May justice be done.

Speaking of something that's evil in a really insidious way, there's a group of people who need Your peace to be upon them. I need to forgive as appropriate for whatever that means.

And for me to tame the finance-monster.

For the Telemum, for healing.

Please pray for the community project I'm trying to get off the ground...got email from the funders last night to say they need to give feedback in person but no idea if that's yes or no...for this to succeed if its truly Gods will and for me to separate anxiety for the project's future from my pride and concern for my job (funding runs out for it in 11 days now).

Praying throught the thread [Votive]

It's moving day tomorrow. Please pray for the lads who will carry my stuff down two flights of stairs and up at the other end (in a lift, thankfully!) Lord, let it go smoothly, and help me to feel at home as soon as may be. I take with me lots of happy memories from this place, which I'm grateful for. It's funny how moving house stirs things up. I pray that the stirring up is a positive thing.

Our moving day is the day after tomorrow. Packing day is tomorrow. Even with the movers doing our packing for us, getting everything ready with two children around (summer holidays) has been really, truly, horrendous.

Please pray that we make it intact through the next few days, especially for our seven-year-old son, who is very aware of leaving his friends and the house he has always lived in.

(((Robert))). Hang in there. You have a *lot* of people working for you here.

Can I ask for prayers for our pastor, P. He's not been well for a year or so, but tests haven't shown anything definite. Now he's in hospital under observation for chest pains. I'm hoping that it isn't serious but also that the medics will try that little bit harder to find out what has laid him low.

I'm doing that terrifying, exciting, and exhausting tapdance known as the Underwriter Hoop-Jumping Marathon in an attempt to purchase my own home. God willing, I'll close the sale about a week before my union votes on whether or not we're going on strike.

So, prayers would be greatly appreciated.

Been busy with out-of-town guest and some pressing business but have been praying for all.

{{{Especially for Robert Armin -- as noted above a lot of folks are praying for you -- may you feel God's loving comfort, strength and light}}}

I give thanks and praise that I still feel wonderfully healthy and give thanks for a future to look forward to, but a few things are on my mind ...

at the moment have a slight nagging (but hopefully unfounded) concern because i've developed heartburn over the last several days and the esophagus is near the bronchial area where my remaining spot of melanoma is. I also would like to be able to go healthily to NY in the week before i start the treatment that will make me have to stay out of sunlight for a month or 2.

Also, a good friend who has 3 cats that she has taken very good and loving care of for 3 years is moving and can keep only mama cat. I am trying to help find a home for mama cat's 2 neutered sons. They've always been together. I would love to take them in myself except the size of my small place and my territorial cat makes that impossible. I need to find a home for them by this weekend. This is really weighing on my mind.

My medicare plan and my back-up insurance plan are both refusing to pay for my treatments because each is saying the other is supposed to do. My financial advisor is saying it should all be worked out soon but until that happens it is stressful being in this limbo. I tend to be leery of these bureaucracies (esp. the corporate ones) and am a bit nervous (?scared?)

Finally i misplaced my phone sometime last night (it's somewhere in the house i'm sure be i CAN"T find it! And i need a bunch of important numbers that are in it, particular relating to the above insurance hassles. I really need to find that phone!

God = love.
Otherwise, things are not just black or white.

A request for a little squeezed-in prayer. My brother is doing really very well indeed after his cerebral bleed and will be coming to stay with us by the end of the week. I have an appointment this morning to ask for some time off - I already feel tired and drained after a series of long shifts at work, the shock of him being rushed into hospital, and various other issues which hover in the background. I have a cough and a cold and a touch of IBS but mainly just wanting to give myself some space rather than run myself totally into the ground. Trouble is, it's not my usual doctor, it's one I've seen once before when I was under quite intense stress and she was not particularly sympathetic to the situation before. People keep telling me to look after myself - please may the doctor feel the same way and help me to do so!

Miss you, Erin.

In the first 2 months of monsoon we have had about a third of the rain we would normally expect - it has been pretty dire over the whole of India. We are hoping things will improve but...

After reading about the drought in parts of USA this week I think I see another round of global food cost inflation in which the poor will be the ones to suffer, as always.

[Votive] [Votive] Continuing prayers for all, especially for those in a dark seemingly hopeless place [Votive] and for those nervously awaiting test results. [Votive]

A woman at my church, T., whom i do not personally know is in the terminal stages of malignant melanoma. Since i have melanoma and (miraculously?) am doing so great this really hits home and makes me realise how immensely blessed i am. Prayers for T. and her family and friends [Votive]

My brother just informed me that my niece J., whom i dearly love, and has been in difficulties most of her life sadly, is stressed out partly due to difficulties in raising her 2 children and has dropped off the radar (as she sometimes does). Her son J2 is with his father F, a steadying influence, and they are doing pretty well, but her daughter L has had behavioral problems which have reached a frightening level, to the point where they were fearful for the safety of her her brother J2. Now no one knows where either J or L are and it is possible that L has been institutionalized -- but my brother and his wife haven't been able to find out anything yet. [Votive]
