Please pray for Lord P - he has bad toothache, went to outpatients last night and was given antibiotics but has been told he needs a root canal filling. ASs he's 4 hours away from our dentist, he needs to find someone who can take him onto their patient list and do the job well and quickly.

Things move rapidly here! The Encroaching Creature has sworn a pox on both our houses (American and Vietnamese congregations both) and is threatening (promising?) To take himself off permanently, and our menace with him. So all may yet be well. On the other hand, my dear godson T is in the emergency room with air in the chest--we have no clue why--and we don't know yet what they will do about it. Plus his Dad is going off the deep end about it--please pray.

My cousin and her daughter have been diagnosed with Thyroid Hormone Resistance, which is the rare hereditary problem.
I have been sent a blood test pack from Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge to check me out as it appears to be from my Dad's side of the family.
Please pray that I won't have problems at my doctors when they take the blood on Friday and that the samples will reach the hospital safely given that they are being sent by post ![[Eek!]](eek.gif)
Also pray that any results will be helpful to the team at the hospital researching into this problem and for my cousin and her daughter.

T has a pneumothorax (fancy name for air in the chest) of unknown origin, and there is nothing to be done about it but wait for it to fix itself. So far so good. On the bad side, they want him to come back for a series of expensive x-rays, and his Dad (who is decidedly odd) is beside himself with anger blaming the poor kid. Pray that he gets over it?

prayers, please, for Chasee#2. his boss has been awful - very emotional and threatening (not physically) and irrational. I wanted for him to have a successful summer work season, and he has as far as the theater is concerned. but his restaurant job is turning just awful. I'm trying very hard to be supportive behind the scenes and let him be the grown up, but I want so much to go barging in there and chew her out. Now he's scared to even talk to her.

Prayer for my friend, David. Out of the blue, he has been hit by a series of small strokes. He's only 53. This has been seriously scary for him and his wife. And they are having to make life adjustments all at once that have their heads spinning.
Pray that the medicines, exercise, and diet changes stabilize him.

Prayers for my right shoulder appreciated. 18 months ago I got a frozen left shoulder, the pain was excruciating for about 6 months and I still haven't got much movement nor can I bear any weight with it. I am now getting ominous twinges in my right shoulder-which would be catastrophic as I am right handed and relying on the right arm 'cos my left is still rubbish-I don't think I could get dressed let alone most other things if my right shoulder goes. I'm taking anti-inflamatories, resting it and praying...

I want to thank everybody here in advance for all their prayers. My wife (Zeke here) finally went back to work, but only as a supply teacher. God must be telling us to wait for something. Where is that teaching contract she was expecting???? I am still unemployed and without income because of "problems" with my benefits. This is malarkey! My employers have paid in to the system, but the bureaucracy is putting me off until the 17th.
Thank God we have some resources. I expect better times for us are right around the corner, but it is a distant and dark corner.
Also, ongoing prayers needed for our daughter: she is going back to her birthplace, Long Beach. At least she has an uncle there, my brother, who lives in another part of LA County. I believe she has a place at the local university for the coming academic year.
Praying for everybody here.
