[Votive] For each by name

[Votive] For Grammatica's D - may she be upheld in her time of tragic losses

[Votive] For Grammatica's Little Girl Cat to quickly show up

[Votive] For my friend J who has been a dedicated teachers aide working with special needs students for the best part of 20 years yet is paid so poorly by the school system that he lives in poverty, his monthly paycheck not enough to live on for a month. May he be able to get his bachelor's degree and a teacher's certificate so that he pay will improve (he needs only a few more courses) and/or that he can move to a city with a better paying school system

[Votive] I have my second bronchial procedure tomorrow. May it be successful and may the results of last weeks CT/PET scan and MRI be continued good news!

Requesting prayer. I've been up all night (as evidenced by posts here) putting off what is yet another hospital visit. Health issues are still serious. I do appreciate the prayers.

Well I went to the DR today and I will definately need surgery very soon. Wisdom needed whether to have it dealt with here locally or to return to the UK. Hopefully it is a benign cyst, more likely then not but they won't know for sure until after they have removed it and can examine it.

I've never had an operation before and feel very anxious about the prospect. Thank you for praying.

Praying through.

Again I am posting to request prayers for the people of Christchurch, particularly the east side which has been hit badly by the numerous quakes and aftershocks.

Today the government announced around 30 schools are to close or merge due to costs of repairing and the number of families that have left the area.

Whie I realise this may be necessary, it doesn't seem to have been handled particularly well and it is yet another disruptive change for people who are already struggling.

Our daughter, Willow, got done for impaired driving last night: she is on disability and too ill to work and apparently too screwed up to return to university either. All I can do is pray for her: thank you for your prayers in advance. She is 33 years old and should sort herself out eventually...

Please pray for my nephew, C., I am worried about the possibility of his harming himself. This week, he lost his job for the second time in two months; as a result, he also lost his car and his home, and today is his birthday.
He has had trouble coping for most of his life; even though I paid for several years of his attending university, he did not manage to graduate, and had been driving a forklift. My sister and brother reached out to him and got him moved into his mother's 1 bedroom apartment, but that is just a stopping point for him. I am very worried.
