things have leveled with the flooding for now. we got most everyone evacuated, a few rescues but all successful. As far as I have been able to ascertain, very few animals were abandoned and those were allowed to run free. the river is not rising and we're all holding steady and waiting for daylight. hydrology shows tiny drops in water level, instead of the huge increases we have been experiencing. little blessings. we're not out of the woods for a few more days, but it's feeling hopeful.

For comet and all in her community who are affected.
For Eutychus' brother, for healing.
For Jahlove's mother, for healing,
For T., who has applied for his first paid job in years, as a paid (as opposed to unpaid) carer.
For M. who has a big show tomorrow and is very nervous.
For me to keep the finance-monster away.
For the Telemum.

For Jahlove's mother
I would like to ask prayer again for my elbow. I seem to have lost the range of motion I'd gained a couple weeks ago. Maybe that's normal; the doctor is really vague about it. But it hurts a lot too.
(For those who don't know, I'm recovering from a radial head fracture, nothing major.)
And while you're at it, pray for L, who is looking for a job and more than likely has to switch careers.

Last night I was on a train, on which there was also a very drunk woman with two children. The police were involved and I have given my name as a witness. Please pray for the woman, A, and her children N and F. Also, that if I am asked for a statement, that I remember everything accurately and fairly.

Upholding all in my prayers.
I had a colonoscopy last week which showed extensive diverticulitis everywhere it looked. This is on top of Colitis and IBS. All require different dietary regimes as does my diabetes. So I'm struggling to know what to eat. I need to be referred to a dietitian for advice. Your prayers would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

for each here praying, and for each need being prayed for, including but not limited to ...
for niteowl - that the illness cause be quickly found and there be a quick restoration to health
for Jahlove's mother
for discernment and peace for Saysay
for NE Quine to give helpful witness and for A and her children N and F
for health for St Gwladys' smidgen cat
for Lamb Chopped's husband in his pastoral responsibilities
for a reconciliation of Scooby-Doo's dietary complications
in thanksgiving for hearing good things from my oncologist and an easing of my anxiety -- the uncertainty as how to proceed remains -- the manner of the way my melanoma has slightly developed is apparently somewhat unusual, and unusual in a good way, the specialists say. In thanksgiving that the bright sun of hope shining in a new day contains as much reality as the cold anxiety of the an pre-dawn. And thanksgiving for continued good health. [ 24. The Smidge seems a lot better today although the vet shocked us by saying he'd lost almost a kilo in weight, and he was only 2.7K last time he was weighed. She's taken a blood sample as he is a bit anaemic, but no obvious lumps or signs of serious illness. Madam cat is now off her food though. Thanks for your prayers for a small cat.

I've just taken a step I believe absolutely to be the right step to take, though it may have consequential ramifications (as such decisions often do). Probably I should have asked your prayers before I took it, but I was certain I was right in taking it. But could you pray for me to be able to bear up under any consequences? I do expect them.
Praying for all who ask our prayers here.
