Chasee#1 and her sig-O are on very rocky ground. Please keep them in your prayers. They are a good pair, but this might break them.

Also- it's small but it's big- Chasee#2 has a big test tomorrow. He needs to be successful mostly because he needs to feel he is sucessful. Does that make sense? He's only recently started really caring, and he doesnt feel he can do it. Its a tough one; if he can ace this it will do wonders for his confidence. Pleasepleaseplease.

[Votive] Praying through, especially for Mili's family, the Chopped family, and the Chasees. Hold our loved ones close, dear Lord, and give us the strength and wisdom to support them.

Thanks for your prayers regarding my family issues. There's been a small development that gives me some hope that things may get better.

[Votive] More for D, my team leader please. It looks like it could be long term which could mess him up further as he relies on work to divert himself from his PTSD.

Thanks for prayers. The drink driver who hit my cousin was not pregnant after all and is older than we originally thought. Somehow this makes me angrier at her though she may have mental health problems. She's not been granted bail as she tried to drive away from the scene of the crime, but was stopped by other people. Then she tried to walk away, but the police thankfully were nearby so arrested her before she could leave - the police were actually called before the accident by people who saw her driving erratically. Please pray for justice, but also that myself, friends and family can eventually forgive, and also that this woman can somehow turn her life around out of this experience.

(I should probably note for the admins that although I haven't put names I also haven't put any facts about the case here that aren't in the press in case it causes legal issues)

C2 feels great about the test. No official result yet, but he came away proud that he had prepared so well and feeling his work paid off. Right on! Just what mama wants to see!

He greatly appreciated knowing that shippies all over the world were praying for his testing!

On the other hand, C1's relationship situation is a mess. Theyre both determined to leap to offense and overreact to the smallest provocation. You couldnt PAY me to be in my 20s again. What a mess. At this point I think they need to just stop speaking to each other before they make things worse. Continued prayers that they not tear each other to shreds would be welcome.

M. has to return to hospital in the morning for a rather painful cleaning of the road rash on his face - they did the shoulder, arm and knee this afternoon but left the face until the morning as he had had enough - he has asked for any prayers going. It is with a cream called GM[?] which I don't know but apparently it hurts a lot.

[Votive] reading [Votive] praying [Votive]

I will be "busy" tomorrow - a not elderly friend of ours has died (he was an addict and got help to give up) by heart problem, and his mother and brother are having a Crematorium in the morning and there is a church one in the afternoon, when I have to do the tea and coffee and food etc. I also have pictures of him to give to his mother - she hasn't seen him for many years. My son is doing the music etc. [Votive]

Please pray for our friends and particularly their eldest son. They are fighting an unimaginable injustice. Can't go into details but their lives have suddenly been turned upside down by something which came out of nowhere. If I read their story in a book, I would dismiss it as too far-fetched.

Pray for Hugal and myself also as we figure out how best to support them.

Please may I have prayers for one of my best friends, U? She's got a history of mental health problems and I haven't heard from her in a month, and she normally replies to my e-mails within a week. Last time we weren't in touch for a few weeks, she'd had some sort of relapse and was a day patient at the hospital she goes to, so I just hope it's nothing worse than that. I just have a gut feeling that things are Not Good TM...

[Votive] Praying

My husband just found out that the family-owned business he works for has been taken over by a much larger company. We think he has a chance of keeping his position, though probably with reduced hours, but many of his co-workers are justifiably worried about being made redundant. Please pray.

I was called to a meeting either tomorrow or saturday where I suspect I'm going to be told that I'm losing my house. with my income and the current housing market here, I suspect this will mean I have to relocate to live essentially in my mother's shed. I'm a bit shell-shocked at the moment, and I'm sure a meltdown is immanent. here's hoping it's not as bad as it seems, but who knows. my illness has made me a very bad bet.

I could use whatever prayers you can spare. here's to positive outcomes.

Well, Student Finance are telling me I'm too poor to have a maintenance grant [Paranoid] Basically they require a minimum income of £7500 a year before you qualify - but I've been on Income Support and Jobseekers' Allowance aka state benefits, which pay about £3500 a year. Student Finance say no one can support themselves on less than £7500 but...I did? It all seems very bizarre. I was estranged from my parents when I first applied so hopefully some evidence proving that will help me get it for that reason, but it's so silly. Going to the uni welfare office tomorrow to get the financial adviser to call Student Finance, as they are much better at talking about it than I am. That plus my depression returning just makes me feel so low and attacked by Someone Below. Please pray for me [Votive]

I received a prayer request from old friend whose daughter has been fighting cancer for a number of years. She has had a sudden return to hospital for what is an uncertain outcome. Please pray for K and her three children and husband. I think all in the family are kinda over the immediate shock of the situation, but prayers are really needed right now for her and all who love her. The kids know the jist of the situation and that Mom will have to be in the hospital for a while. I don't think they know the gravity of the situation.

Praying for a positive outcome

[Votive] reading [Votive] praying [Votive]

C, who died, his mother was very pleased to have happy pictures of him from me, as he looked OK and happy and enjoying having given up his addiction. She was pleased to meet his friends form several of our churches. She was brought by a local person in his car as she is not really able now to walk well. [Votive] She still feels sad. [Votive]
